The Predportovy distriport handles import and export cargo, serving as an in-land railway terminal of the St. Petersburg Sea Port.
Its main function is to handle goods during the transition from sea to land modes of transport and vice versa.
Predportovy distriport provides a full set of logistic services, including door-to-door delivery of goods, intermodal and multimodal freight shipments, customs clearance.

- receiving, processing and dispatching of export, import and transit cargo by road and rail, in wagons and containers
- receipt, storage and dispatch of cargo in reefer containers
- formation and dispatch of block-trains between Predportovy distriport and the St. Petersburg Sea Port
- consolidation of sea freight consignments for shipping by sea from the St. Petersburg Sea Port
- formation of freight consignments at the warehouse
- storage of empty containers of sea freight operators
- dispatch of empty containers by block-trains to consignors for loading
- bonded warehouse services
- customs-related services, including:

- insurance of the stored goods at no cost to the client
